How Magic Links Work
Magic Links route your audience to the right app automatically—here's how the technology works under the hood.
Magic Links aren't just short URLs—they're smart routers that detect where a link should go and send your audience there directly.
How the routing works
When someone taps a Magic Link, our system checks the destination URL and looks up whether a native app can handle it. If YouTube is installed, a YouTube link opens in the app. If Amazon is installed, the product opens in the app.
What happens when the app isn't installed
No WebView. No broken experience. The link falls back to a real browser—Safari or Chrome—so your checkout flows and attribution pixels fire correctly.
Why this matters for your ads
Every friction point between tap and conversion costs you money. In-app browsers break cookies, strip UTM parameters, and make checkout feel unsafe.
Magic Links eliminate that layer entirely.
